We know that terms & conditions can often be longwinded and difficult to read, so we’ve tried our best to make ours as short and simple as possible.
Once you have paid for your lesson, we will pass the funds onto your driving instructor after they have completed the first lesson. If you’d like to request a refund for any reason, we recommend speaking to your instructor first, before contacting the office if it cannot be resolved directly with your instructor. If you are unhappy with this refund policy, it’s best to pay your instructor on a lesson by lesson basis, however, this does mean you won’t be able to take advantage of our block booking savings.
Here’s what we promise when learning with a Drive247 instructor:
- You trained driving instructor will provide lessons in a dual controlled vehicle which is road safe and clean.
- Instructors will be professional, respectable and present themselves smartly.
- All of our driving instructors operate a strict no-smoking policy.
Taking Your Driving Test
- Should your instructor feel that you’re not ready to take your test, they are within their rights to withdraw their car from usage for your test. Your instructor will give you at least 5 days working notice if this happens.
- If you fail a mock driving test, you can still go for your driving test of your instructor believes you have a reasonable chance of still passing.
- On rare occasions instructor fall ill, if this happens we will endeavour to find you an alternative instructor, however we can’t guarantee that we will be successful in finding an alternative instructor.
- In the unlikely event that your instructors vehicle is not in a suitable roadworthy condition for your test, we will do our best to find you a similar car for your test, but we cannot guarantee the vehicle will be exactly the same.
- Your instructor is responsible for making sure their vehicle is in a safe and roadworthy condition for your test. If your examiner refuses to take you for your test in your instructors car, your instructor will pay for your next test.
